ABOUT

Mary Jo Roberts-Braisted is an experienced Creative Director with a strong background in design and advertising. Over the course of her career, she has created compelling and visually engaging work across print, packaging, 3D displays, and digital media for national and international clients.

Her portfolio includes work for major brands and organizations such as The Dannon Company, Boston Biomedical, Centocor Ortho Biotech, Flagship Pioneering, Kraft Foods, ConAgra Foods, Johnson & Johnson, The Rockefeller Foundation, High Liner Foods, Black & Decker, the U.S. Federal Highway Administration, KVH Industries, and RPS Group.

In addition to her commercial work, Mary Jo is an accomplished illustrator and painter. She illustrated the children’s book The Pumpkin Fairy, written by William Boyd, and continues to explore new artistic mediums through local workshops. Her creative interests include printmaking, jewelry design, and daily morning walks around the island—often a source of inspiration.

 

Mary Jo has also dedicated time to community service. She has coached for Special Olympics in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut and is an active member of the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW) and the Jamestown Arts Center. She generously donates her design services to organizations such as Bridges, Inc., which supports individuals with developmental disabilities, and Saint Joseph’s Parenting Center in Stamford, CT.
