ABOUT
Mary Jo Roberts-Braisted is a Creative Director with many years of experience in the design and advertising industries.
Throughout her career she has focused on producing high-quality, strong and beautiful designs in print, packaging, 3-D displays, and digital formats for national companies. Some of these companies include: The Dannon Company, Boston Biomedical, Centocor Ortho Biotech, Flagship Pioneering, Kraft Foods, ConAgra Foods, Johnson & Johnson, The Rockefeller Foundation, High Liner Foods, Black & Decker, U.S. Federal Highway Administration, KVH Industries and RPS Group.
Mary Jo is also an accomplished illustrator and painter and has a children’s book published entitled “The Pumpkin Fairy,” written by William Boyd. She loves experimenting with a variety of mediums and enjoys taking local workshops to keep her “inner fine artist” happy. She loves making jewelry, printmaking and taking daily morning walks around the island.
Over the years she has been a coach for Special Olympics in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She is a member of the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW), Jamestown Art Center, and volunteers her design services to Bridges, Inc., which provides support services to people with developmental disabilities, and Saint Joseph’s Parenting Center, in Stamford, CT.
